Billy Franklin Orr, 76, of Las Vegas, formerly of Southeast Missouri, died Thursday, Aug. 6, 1998, at a care center in Boulder City, Nev.
He was born April 3, 1922, at Poplar Bluff, son of Willie Earl Orr and Pauline Henley Orr.
He married Marinelle Jo Sample Nov. 30, 1941. She preceded him in death.
He moved from Sikeston to Covina, Calif., in 1950 and to Corona, Calif., in 1974 where he worked for Unisys Corp. He moved to Las Vegas in 1990.
Survivors are his mother, Pauline Limbaugh of Miner; a son, William Michael Orr of Apache Junction, Ariz.; a daughter, Cheryl Anne Kimbell of Las Vegas; two brothers, Dan Limbaugh of Sikeston and James Limbaugh of Arlington, Texas; two sisters, Jackie Sailors of Sikeston and Betty Emmons of Los Angeles; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Amos Johnson officiating.
VFW Post 3838 will conduct graveside rites.
Friends may call at Ford & Sons Funeral Home, Mount Auburn Chapel, from noon to 1:45 Wednesday.
