Billy Myrick

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Billy L. Myrick, 79, of Sikeston died Saturday, Oct. 30, 2004, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Nov. 3, 1924, in Clovis, N.M., daughter of Charles and Lena Wedeman Orr. She and Forrest Myrick were married May 6, 1953, in Bernalilio, N.M. She was formerly of Barstow, Calif.

Myrick attended Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston and St. Joseph Catholic Church in Barstow.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Carl Scott of Summit Hill, Pa., Richard Myrick of Lompoc, Calif.; two daughters, Lena Farmer and Amanda Myrick of Sikeston; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, a son and seven sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 12:30 p.m. Wednesday until time of service.

A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. A. J. Wollenburg officiating. Burial will be at a later date.
