Billy Joe Morgan
CHARLESTON -- Billy Joe Morgan, 70, of Charleston died Sunday, Aug. 30, 1998, at Miner Nursing Center.
He was born Oct. 16, 1927, at St. Louis, son of Bert C. and Lucy Jane Boley Morgan. He and Faye Sims were married on Feb. 14, 1953.
Morgan lived in Charleston most of his life where he was a self-employed truck driver. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Phil Morgan of Charleston and Terry Morgan of Omaha, Neb.; a brother, Lowell Morgan of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Friends may call at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston from 5 - 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Kohlbaker will officiate, with burial in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
