Billy G. Ashabranner, 60, of Andrews, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at his home. He was born July 8, 1935, in Manila, Ark., son of Leonard Floyd and Nellie Francis Fletcher Ashabranner. He married the former Shelby Kay Gamble. Ashabranner was a mechanic, and member of the Nazarene Church of Andrews. He was formerly of Chaffee, moving to Texas about 1978...

Billy G. Ashabranner, 60, of Andrews, Texas, died Friday, Oct. 20, 1995, at his home.

He was born July 8, 1935, in Manila, Ark., son of Leonard Floyd and Nellie Francis Fletcher Ashabranner. He married the former Shelby Kay Gamble.

Ashabranner was a mechanic, and member of the Nazarene Church of Andrews. He was formerly of Chaffee, moving to Texas about 1978.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Jeff Ashabranner of Dallas, Texas, Mike and David Ashabranner of Andrews; a daughter, Carol Joyce of Andrews; a brother, Lonnie Ashabranner of Dunlap, Tenn.; a sister, Carolyn Ashabranner of Cape Girardeau, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Funeral service will be Monday at McMett Funeral Home in Andrews.
