BELL CITY, Mo. -- Billy Estle Freeman, 77, of Bell City passed away Thursday, Aug. 9, 2012, at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 26, 1935, in Dover, Ark., son of Charlie and Zeola Curtis Freeman.
Billy was a mechanic 17 years at Sikeston Motor Co. He later worked at Bell-Mo Seed Co. in Bell City.
Billy and Margret June Crosno were married June 29, 1953, in Hernando, Miss.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Billy (Angie) Freeman of Marble Hill, Mo.; three daughters, Margret (Gary) Hardy of Sikeston, Mo., Leta (Dennis) Fisher of Littleton, Colo., Sherry (Donnie) Wondel of Perkins, Mo.; four brothers, Boyce Freeman of Cape Girardeau, Albert Freeman of Dickson, Texas, Johnny Freeman of San Leon, Texas, Gary Freeman of Advance, Mo.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel in Advance.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Willer officiating. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.
