MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Billy Wayne Cook, 82, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, Aug. 5, 2013, at his home.
He was born Sept. 11, 1930, in Hornersville, Mo., son of Thomas Franklin and Sin Garland Cook. He and Margie Devenport were married Aug. 6, 1951.
Cook worked at the pallet mill.
Survivors include his wife, Margie; two daughters, Sandy (Steve) Raines of Sedgewickville, Mo., and Karen Barks of Marble Hill; a brother, Buford (Colleen) Cook of Marble Hill; two grandsons, Jamie Raines and Chris Barks; two great-grandchildren, Erykah Raines and Noah Barks; and his best friend, Edwin Bohnert of Bloomsdale, Mo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law, Scott Barks.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
