SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Billy Gene and Dorothy Jean Fowler Jones of Scottsdale, formerly of the Advance, Missouri, area, passed away in Arizona on Wednesday, July 3, 2019, and Monday, April 9, 2018, respectively.
Billy was born March 21, 1931, to Bill and Ruth Hitt Jones, and Dorothy was born Jan. 27, 1934, to George and Bertie Pohlman Fowler. Their 67-year marriage was filled with travel and fun adventures.
Billy loved teaching school and retired as a principal from the Pattonville School District in St. Louis. Dorothy retired as a secretary from Monsanto in St. Louis.
To cherish their memory, they leave two daughters, Jennifer (Tim) Noonan of Scottsdale and Debra Cronin of Largo, Florida; a granddaughter, Sara (Alvaro) Lira, and her children, Xela and Max.
Billy's survivors are three siblings, Lyle (Jane) Jones and Sharon (Charles) Gass of Jackson, and Gerald (the late Joyce) Jones of Arnold, Missouri.
Dorothy's survivors are two siblings, Ralph (Dean) Fowler and Mildred (the late James) Harnes of Advance.
Billy and Dorothy will be laid to rest privately at Fairview Cemetery near Advance.
