MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Billie W. James, 65, of Marble Hill passed away Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 13, 1947, in Marble Hill, son of Otha R. "Jack" and Beulah M. Hill James. He and Joyce Baker were married June 8, 1968.
Billie worked as a diesel mechanic at Cape Tractor Trailer Supply and at Ryder.
Survivors include his wife, Joyce of Marble Hill; and three sisters, Chris Myers of Marble Hill, Oneta Wolfe of Laurie, Mo., and Kathy McLeary of Cape Girardeau.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-nephew, Tyler James; and a great-great-niece, Mariah Nenninger.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joe Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
