Billie Evelyn Ewing, 69, 704 Normal, died Friday, Dec. 9, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born May 23, 1925, in Cairo, Ill., daughter of Harry H. and Dovie E. Johnson Adams. She and Bill Neil Ewing were married Dec. 9, 1946, in Phenix City, Ala. He died Feb. 9, 1988.
The Ewings owned and operated the former St. Charles Cosmetics Shop. She was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church, Cape Girardeau Garden Club, Women's Golf Association, and Beta Sigma Phi sorority. She served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy Hastings of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Cuba Cox of Paducah, Ky., and three grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Lorimier Cemetery, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating.
There is no visitation. Ford and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
