Billie Bertha Zadick, 87, of Brentwood, Tenn., died Monday, June 5, 1995, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tenn.
She was born March 10, 1908, at Charleston, daughter of William B. and Joslyn Byrd McAllister. She and Gustav Zadick were married Nov. 11, 1933, in Waukegan, Ill.
Zadick was a designer of women's hats and clothes in the 1930s and '40s. She had been featured in several national publications including Vogue magazine.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Michael Zadick of Brentwood; a daughter, Alice Zadick of Brentwood; five grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.
Friends may call at the chapel after 1 p.m.
