Bill F. Shelton, 75, of Cape Girardeau passed away Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2019, at his home, with family by his side.
He was a family man who greatly enjoyed country cruising. He was an operator through the Laborers Union at SEMO Stone until he retired in 2006.
Bill is survived by his wife, Margaret Shelton; son, Brian (Lyndsay) Shelton; daughter, Jennifer (Todd) Abernathy; granddaughter, Tanisha (Trey) Watkins; grandson, Gunner Shelton; great-granddaughter, Cadence; and sister, Leona Johnson.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Oct. 6 at Valley Mission Cemetery in Jonesboro, Illinois, officiated by his brother-in-law, the Rev. Bobby Mayberry.
Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill is in charge of arrangements.
