Bill Schubert, 80, of Jackson died Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2007, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born March 29, 1927, at Yount, Mo., son of William F. and Edith Broeker Schubert. He and Mary Hitt were married Oct. 27, 1956.
Schubert was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. He was a carpenter and formerly an active member in Traveler's Protective Association, Cape County Gun Club and National Rifle Association.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Tyke Schubert; a daughter, Kimberly Moore, both of Jackson; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Henrichs officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
