MASCOUTAH, Ill. -- Bill Morrison, 71, of Mascoutah, formerly of Jackson, died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, in Mascoutah.
He was born May 21, 1927, son of Walter and Ollie Morrison.
He retired from the Air Force. He also retired from the Teamsters as a truck driver.
He was a member of the Ainad Temple; the Legion of Honor; the Royal Arch Masons, chapter 93, Centralia; the Centralia Blue Lodge 201; Scottish Rite Bodies of the Valley of Southern Illinois; and the American Legion Post 158 in Jackson.
He married Barbara Friess on April 22, 1955.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, John Walter Morrison of Branson, Mo., and Kenneth Morrison of New Baden, Ill.; two brothers, Lynnwood and Robert Morrison of Jackson; a sister, Opal Morrison of Jackson; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. today at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home in Belleville.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Cathedral Catholic Church in Belleville. Burial will follow in Greenmont Catholic Cemetery in Belleville.
