BLOOMFIELD -- Bill M. McCollum, 71, of Bloomfield died Friday, April 14, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
He was born at Topper Town March 19, 1924, son of Albert and Ruth Gambles.
He married Victoria Knight Sept. 23, 1941. She survives.
McCollum was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Army. He was a retired baker for Pepper's Bakery at Bloomfield.
Survivors include two sons, Steve McCollum of Bloomfield and Mike McCollum of Jackson; two daughters, Loyce Bleichner and Ruth McCollum, both of Benton, Ill.; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be held today at 1:30 p.m. in the Gravel Hill Center Cemetery near Bloomfield, with the Rev. Hank Foster officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home of Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
