CHAFFEE -- William David "Bill" Horn, 74, of Chaffee, died Monday, Jan. 31, 1994, at Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.
He was born Feb. 13, 1919, at Chaffee, son of James and Bertha Heinz Horn. He and Opal Ann Tucker were married June 30, 1942, at Chaffee.
Horn was owner and operator of Horn's Barber Shop, retiring Dec. 18, 1993. He was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, its Men's Club, and Chaffee VFW Post 3127.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Evelyn Sprenger of Chaffee; two brothers, Louis and Robert Horn of St. Louis, and a sister, Emma Austin of Ocala, Fla.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Ambrose Church. The Rev. Allan Saunders will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Chaffee after 4 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
