ANNA, Ill. -- Bill Hemby, 80, of Anna, died Thursday, Nov. 10, 1994, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born June 27, 1914, in Laurel Hill, Fla., son of Willie and Emma Saul Hemby. He and Mary Ellen McMahan were married Oct. 18, 1949.
Hemby was a member of the United Methodist Church of Anna, and Jonesboro Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Jane; a daughter, JoVonna Noble of Carbondale; three sisters, Juette Thompson of Bartow, Fla., Myrtice Biggs of Plant City, Fla., Donna Wilson of Dallas, Texas, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Anna from 5-9 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Richard Sullins officiating. Burial will be in Anna Cemetery.
