SCOTT CITY, Mo. -- Bill D. Harrison, 71, of Scott City died Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
He was born July 18, 1929, in Harrisburg, Ill., son of Charles and Nellie Endicott Harrison. He and Barbara Ann Norman were married June 27, 1953, in Harrisburg.
Harrison had been an inspection specialist with HSB Group in St. Louis.
He moved to Scott City 34 years ago from Metropolis, Ill. He was a corporal in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Bob Harrison of Kenosha, Wis., Ben Harrison of Scott City; a daughter, Brenda Harrison of Jackson, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
There is no visitation.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Lightner Memorial Cemetery. Charles Harrison and Bob Harrison will officiate.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
