BEVERLY SMITH

ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral for Beverly C. Smith of Cumming, Ga., formerly of Anna, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. The Rev. Kenneth Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Anna City Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. today, and Sunday until service time.

Smith, 44, died Thursday, July 22, 1999, at her home.

She was born Oct. 25, 1954, in Paducah, Ky., daughter of Frankie D. and Mary Sue Hammonds Lence. She and Morris E. Smith were married March 30, 1985, in Union County, Ill.

Smith was a 1972 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, and received an associate degree in accounting from Draughon's Business College in Paducah.

She was an accountant in the petroleum industry.

Survivors include her husband; two stepdaughters, Jennifer and Christine Smith of St. Charles, Mo.; her parents of Anna; a brother, Kenneth Lence of Cisne; and paternal grandparents, Frank and Violet Lence of Anna.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.
