BROWNWOOD -- Beverly Joyce Pittman, 52, of Brownwood died Saturday, April 5, 1997, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 1, 1944, in Midland County, Mich., daughter of Sherman and Kathleen Revoir Rogers. She married Douglas Pittman on Sept. 4, 1965 in Lowndes, and he survives her.
She was a homemaker and member of the Community Church of Christ in Lowndes.
She is survived by her father; a son, Johnny Pittman of Brownwood; a daughter, Robin Joy Martin, of Arlington, Texas; four brothers, Dean Rogers, of Arlington, David Rogers of Burger, Noah Rogers of Dexter and Neal Rogers of Chaffee; five sisters, Evelyn Slaughter and Shirley Propst, both of Zalma, Nancy Pittman of Dexter, Martha McCarthy of Bernie and Nellie Greenlee of Puxico; and one granddaughter.
She was preceded in by her mother, stepmother and one brother.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Monday at the Community Church of Christ in Lowndes with pastors Jack and Lewis Rogers officiating. Burial will be in the Community Church of Christ Cemetery with the Morgan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
