Beverley Ann Hagerty, 86, of Cape Girardeau died Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019, at Saint Francis Medical Center, surrounded by family.
She was born March 23, 1933, in East Orange, New Jersey, to Charles Alfred and Augusta O'Donnell Wood. She and Frank Rapka were married March 16, 1950. She later married Paul Hagerty on Sept. 10, 1964, in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Both preceded her in death.
She worked at Florsheim Shoe Factory, Sunny Hill Restaurant as a waitress, Holiday Inn as a hostess for 16 years and Lutheran Home.
Survivors include her sons, Charles P. (Gina) Hagerty of Cape Girardeau, Michael D. (Ramona) Hagerty of Panama City, Florida, and Paul C. (Justine) Hagerty II of Alaska; grandchildren, Jessica and Chase, Sarah, Christina and Elizabeth; great-grandchildren, Lillian, Delilah and Penelope; and her beloved dog, Lucy.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; son, Frank M. Rapka; and sister, Edna Kazee.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jeff Estes officiating.
Memorial contributions may be given to Maple United Methodist Church.
