DONGOLA, Ill. -- Beulah Schluter, 84, of Dongola, died Thursday, Aug. 18, 1994, at her home.
She was born June 3, 1910, in Pulaski County, daughter of John and Maggie A. Huntsman George. She and Harold Schluter were married Nov. 25, 1928.
Schluter helped operate the family farm east of Dongola. She was a member of First Lutheran Church here, and charter member of Willing Hands Group.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Ludene Rice of Roach, Mo.; two sons, Ray Schluter of Dongola, Bob Schluter of Cobden; a sister, Ruby Parr of Dongola; a brother, Carl George of Dongola; eight grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Crain Funeral Home in Dongola after 6 p.m. today, and at First Lutheran Church after 11 a.m. Sunday.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church, with the Rev. Dennis Cooley officiating. Burial will be in American Legion Cemetery.
