SIKESTON -- Beulah F. Luber, 67, of Sikeston died Thursday, Feb. 21, 1991 at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born July 9, 1923 in Brinkley, Ark., the daughter of John Walter and Emily Henrietta Holder Boatner.
She was the owner-operator of the SEMO Beauty School in Sikeston for over 20 years.
She was a member of the Sikeston Eagles Ladies Auxiliary and the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
On Dec. 7, 1941, she married Lawrence B. Luber in Oran. He preceded her in death April 7, 1978.
She is survived by six sons, Larry B. Luber, St. Louis, Byron D. Luber, Caruthersville, Charles B. Luber, St. Louis, Paul C. Luber, Sikeston, Gregory T. Luber and Thomas J. Luber, both of St. Louis; two brothers, John H. Boatner, Imboden, Ark., Carl Boatner, Perryville; and three grandchildren.
One sister preceded her in death.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. At 6:30 p.m. the Eagles Club Ladies Auxiliary will conduct a memorial service. At 7:30 p.m., a prayer service will be held.
Funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Sikeston with the Rev. Amel Schibley, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
