AID, Mo. -- Betty Wilson, 80, of Huntsville, Ala., died Thursday, May 31, 2001, in Huntsville. She was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Caro, Mich., daughter of Bert and Beatrice Vermilya. She and Freeman "Red" Wilson were married June 25, 1962. He died June 24, 1988...

AID, Mo. -- Betty Wilson, 80, of Huntsville, Ala., died Thursday, May 31, 2001, in Huntsville.

She was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Caro, Mich., daughter of Bert and Beatrice Vermilya. She and Freeman "Red" Wilson were married June 25, 1962. He died June 24, 1988.

Formerly of Aid, Wilson had lived in Huntsville the past few years. She was a retired teacher.

Survivors include a son, Alan Wilson of Huntsville; a stepson, James Wilson of Stuart, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Linda Patterson of Port Salerno, Fla., Alice Grier of Stuart, Phyllis Shinook of Hou Sound, Fla.; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, Mo., from 6-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harper Cemetery at Aid.
