Betty Talley

ZALMA, Mo. -- Betty R. Talley, 67, of South Roxana, Ill., died Monday, April 14, 2003, at Alton Memorial Hospital in Alton, Ill.

She was born June 4, 1935, at Zalma, daughter of Homer and Myrtle Kinder Campbell. She and Russell Eugene Talley were married Nov. 14, 1953. He died Dec. 6, 1983.

Survivors include a son, Darrell Talley of Bunker Hill, Ill.; a daughter, Pat Bruner of South Roxana; three brothers, Raymond Campbell of Springfield, Ill., Gilbert Campbell of Delhi, Ill., Willard Campbell of Hettick, Ill.; a sister, Jessie Gulley of Scott City; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Porter officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park at Marble Hill, Mo.
