Betty Lou Suedekum, 91, of Jackson died Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2020, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.
She was born May 16, 1929, in Jackson to Roy Henry and Nellie Magnaline Williams Schreiner. She and Dorris Lee Suedekum were married July 12, 1959, in Jackson. He preceded her in death Jan. 29, 2002.
Betty worked at the former Jackson hosiery mill and was later a self-employed beautician in Jackson.
She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church in Jackson.
Survivors include brothers, Ralph Dayton (Norma) Schreiner and Jerry (Janet) Schreiner, both of Jackson; and sisters, Barbara Wendel, Mary Biri and Judy Huber, all of Jackson.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul and Leonard Schreiner; and sisters, Jenny Davault and Dora Gerlach.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home in Jackson.
Funeral will follow at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating. Burial will be at Russell Heights in Jackson.
Memorial contributions may be given to New McKendree United Methodist church.
