PADUCAH, Ky. -- Graveside service was held Saturday at the Anna (Illinois) Cemetery for Betty Stiner Gardner, 71, of Paducah, formerly of Memphis, Tenn., and Sun City, Ariz. The Rev. L.C. Prueshsner officiated.
She died Friday, Dec. 10, 1999, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah.
She was born April 1, 1928, at Memphis, daughter of Vernon and Ada Halterman Stiner. She married Lee Gardner. He died in 1985.

She was retired from Memphis Light, Gas & Water.
Survivors include two sisters, Virginia Carothers of Sun City, Ariz.; and Margaret Schilling of Indianapolis, Ind.
She was preceded in death by a brother.
Crain Funeral Home of Anna handled the arrangements.
