Betty R. Schweppe, 89, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at Southeast Hospital.

She was born Nov. 20, 1933, in Cape Girardeau to Walter and Bertha Bowman. She married Frank Schweppe on April 12, 1952. He preceded her in death in 1995.

Loving survivors include her son, Frank (Toni) Schweppe; son-in-law, Ralph Craig Sr.; four grandchildren, Ralph (Rachel) Craig Jr., David Craig, Travis (Bethany) Bowman and Daisy (Jeremy) Patrick; 12 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Harold (Alice) Bowman.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Wanda Craig; and brother, Richard “Buck” Bowman.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 25, at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.

Funeral service will follow at noon Saturday, March 25, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Donny Ford officiating. Burial will be at Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
