Betty Jean Puchbauer, 78, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at Presbyterian Manor.
She was born July 14, 1928, in Cape Girardeau County, daughter of Adam and Cora Schoenebeck Henry.
Mrs. Puchbauer was formerly of the Jackson and Cape Girardeau area. She was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Jackson, and volunteered at Parkland Hospital as a Pink Lady. She enjoyed her family very much and was a lover of baseball and playing dominos with friends.
Survivors include a son, Stephen Puchbauer and wife Becky of Perryville, Mo.; three daughters, Mary Gunder and husband Willis of Farmington, Mo., Vicki Puchbauer of St. Louis, Amy DeSpain and husband Jeff of Jackson; three grandchildren, Sarah Boyd, Garry Gunder and Emma DeSpain; two great-grandchildren, Ian and Alex Boyd; and a sister, Olga Ludwig of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Victor Puchbauer; a daughter, Catherine Puchbauer; a brother, Earl Henry; and a sister, Anita Smith.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Cozean Memorial Chapel in Farmington, and from 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's United Church of Christ in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, with David Schaffner officiating. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery.
