BENTON, Mo. -- Betty Sue Moit, 67, of Benton died Wednesday, July 30, 2014, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born July 16, 1947, in Rockview, Missouri, to George B. and Betty Jane Lape Moit Sr. She and Robert Franklin "Bobby" Randolph were married Nov. 19, 1966, at Rockview.
Betty was a cook many years at Curtis Cafe in Hayti, Missouri, and at Rhodes Truck Stop near Scott City. She was a member of Commerce Baptist Church.
Survivors include her father, George B. Moit Sr. of Benton; a daughter, Monoco Meschelle "Shell" Jones (Paul) of Kennett, Missouri; a brother, George B. Moit Jr. (Lisa) of Benton; three sisters, Carolyn Schaefer (Butch) of Bell City, Missouri, Teresa Jackson of Hayti and Pat Carnell of Cape Girardeau; and a grandson, Trey Jones.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Jane Moit.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Benton Chapel.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Daniel Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee, Missouri.
