GLENALLEN, Mo. -- Betty Louise Minson, 75, of Glenallen passed away Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013, at Landmark Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Feb. 25, 1938, daughter of K.W. and Dorothy Drum Moyers. She married Lee Roy Minson on June 11, 1955. He passed away Sept. 4, 2013.
Betty worked at Inland Shoe Co. in Advance, Mo., and at Paramount Hat Factory in Marble Hill, Mo. He was a member of Order of Eastern Star 310 in Millersville and member of Glenallen Methodist Church.
Survivors include three sons, Wendell (Karyl) Minson of Dexter, Mo., Stan (Vickie) Minson of Burfordville and Tim (Lindsey) Minson of Gower, Mo.; a brother, Harold (Barb) Moyers of Hiram, Mo.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Winford, Robert "Bob" and Clyde "Pete" Moyers; and two sisters, Pearl Durham and Novella Berry.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Clifton Trentham and the Rev. Kim Mitchell officiating. Burial will be in Glenallen Cemetery.
