Betty R. McGregor, 76, of Scott City, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau. She was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Sikeston, daughter of James and Emma Arnold Hodges. She married W.E. "Gene" McGregor, who died Jan. 4, 1993...

Betty R. McGregor, 76, of Scott City, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died Friday, Aug. 20, 2004, at Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Jan. 30, 1928, in Sikeston, daughter of James and Emma Arnold Hodges. She married W.E. "Gene" McGregor, who died Jan. 4, 1993.

Survivors include two sons, Richard McGregor of Scott City, John McGregor of Blue Springs, Mo.; two brothers, Bill Hodges of Kelso, Mo., James "Bud" Hodges of East Prairie, Mo.; a sister, Gertrude Wilkinson of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. The Rev. Rick Lasley, pastor of Wesley United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Sikeston City Cemetery.
