SIKESTON -- Betty K. Estes Anderson, 73, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. She was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Advance, daughter of Albert Willis and Della Maude Fields Revelle. She married Milford B. Estes Jan. 5, 1940, in Advance. She later married Curtiss Anderson Aug. 9, 1968, at West Plains. He died Aug. 29, 1994...

SIKESTON -- Betty K. Estes Anderson, 73, of Sikeston, died Monday, Nov. 21, 1994, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Advance, daughter of Albert Willis and Della Maude Fields Revelle. She married Milford B. Estes Jan. 5, 1940, in Advance. She later married Curtiss Anderson Aug. 9, 1968, at West Plains. He died Aug. 29, 1994.

Anderson was a graduate of Advance High School, and member of First United Methodist Church in Advance.

After moving to Sikeston she was a Girl Scout leader, member of Eastern Star, and a championship golfer. She was active in various civic organizations.

Survivors include two daughters, Judy Gipson of Ballwin, Janet Ugor of Carrollton, Texas; two stepsons, Larry Anderson of Heber Springs, Ark., Lark Anderson of Dallas, Texas; a stepdaughter, Lana Hertel of Crystal Lake, Ill.; two sisters, Billie Rose of Wappapello, Aileen Culp of Spokane, Wash.; three grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.

She was prececed in death by a grandson, two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the chapel, with the Rev. Virgil Bunch officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
