SCOTT CITY -- Betty J. Moit, 64, of Scott City, died Thursday, Oct. 1, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.
She was born May 28, 1928, at Delta, daughter of Arthur and Trulie Ikerman Lape. She and George B. Moit Sr. were married March 14, 1945.

Survivors include her husband; a son, George Moit Jr. of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Carolyn Schaefer of Bell City, Betty Holliman of Scott City, Teresa Jackson of Hayti, Patricia Carnell of Dutchtown; a brother, Ralph Lape of Chaffee; two sisters, Erma McCasling of Rockview, Joan Jamerson of Fenton; 11 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee. The Rev. Doyle Randol will officiate, with burial in Union Park Cemetery at Chaffee.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Saturday.
