Betty Ann Housman, 54, of Cape Girardeau died at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 30, 2010, at home.
She was born Oct. 30, 1956, to Joel and Wilma Branch McCrary Sr. in Cardwell, Mo.
Betty lived in Cape Girardeau most of her life and was self-employed. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Lisa Housman, and son, Merriel Housman III, both of Cape Girardeau; mother, Wilma McCrary of McClure, Ill.; siblings, Joel McCrary Jr. of Cape Girardeau, Jeanie (Dave) Dittmer of Jackson, Donna Tidwell of Cape Girardeau, Michelle Rogers of McClure, Michael (Stacey) McCrary of Butler, Mo., Sandy (Ted) Berg of Arkansas, Debbie (Wimp) Ward of Arkansas, Charlotte (Eddie) DeLong of North Carolina, Donnie Branch of Mexico; sister-in-law, Gertie Branch of Cardwell, Mo.; four grandchildren, Gabriel, Jordan, Joseph and Carina.
She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Bill Branch.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Crain Funeral Home, 829 N. West End Blvd., Cape Girardeau, with the Rev. Chris Clifton officiating. Interment will be at Cape County Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the funeral home to help defray the cost of the funeral.
