The funeral for Betty J. Hessenflow of Colorado Springs, Colo., will be held at 2 p.m. today at Shrine of Remembrance in Colorado Springs. Private burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Colorado Springs.
Hessenflow, 73, died Monday, Nov. 4, 2002, at SemperCare Hospital in Colorado Springs.
She was born Oct. 20, 1929, in Jackson, daughter of Erna and Charles Meyer. She and F.J. "Hess" Hessenflow were married Jan. 20, 1955, in Amarillo, Texas.
She was a civilian employee with the U.S. Air Force most of her working career.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Patricia Hessenflow of Douglas, Wyo., Gail Deal of Falcon, Colo.; three sisters, Lavern Bangert and Mary Crites of Jackson, Dorothy "Dot" Fickens of St. Louis; two brothers, Carlton "Bud" Meyer of Jackson and Harold Meyer of Fresno, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
