MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Betty Joyce Hahs, 85, of West Plains, Mo., formerly of Marble Hill, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2013.
She was born May 19, 1927, daughter of Ralph and Della Crader DeWitt. She and Dick Hahs were married June 8, 1946. He passed away Sept. 20, 1976.
Betty retired as librarian from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She was a former member of Marble Hill United Methodist Church, Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau, and member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters, Nancee (David) Wiemer of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Judy (Barry) Stoltzfus of West Plains; six grandchildren, Ira, Joshua, Matthew, Callie, Mark and Kyle; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Oct. 12 at Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
