CAIRO, Ill. -- Betty Finley, 68, of Cairo died Sunday at the Daystar Care Center. She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Cairo, daughter of Foster and Jennie Blackburn Barnes. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and is survived by a daughter, Karen Jo Roberts of Tampa, Fla.; and a sister, Shirley Knitter of Cairo...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Betty Finley, 68, of Cairo died Sunday at the Daystar Care Center. She was born Oct. 30, 1928, in Cairo, daughter of Foster and Jennie Blackburn Barnes.

She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and is survived by a daughter, Karen Jo Roberts of Tampa, Fla.; and a sister, Shirley Knitter of Cairo.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Spencer Heights Cemetery in Mounds, Ill., with the Rev. Jerome Fortenberry officiating. Interment will follow.

The Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo is in charge of arrangements.
