PERRYVILLE -- Betty Jean Braddy, 59, of Perryville died Saturday, Feb. 12, 2000, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.
She was born June 20, 1940, in Rockingham, S.C., daughter of Glenn and Ruth Wiggens Stokes. She and William C. Braddy Sr. were married March 6, 1964.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Tina Arnett of Perryville, Teresa Smith of Kennett; four sons, William "Bill" Braddy, Robert "Bob" Braddy, and Charles James Jr., all of Perryville, Eddie James of Florida; and her mother of Perryville.
Also surviving are four sisters, Christine Shively of Columbus, S.C., Frances Dixon of Franklin, Va., Aline Rooker of Roanoke Rapids, N.C., Annie Hicks of Morrison, Okla.; a brother, Eugene Stokes of Virginia; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Irvin Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
