Betty Bradbury, 71, 1446 Rose, died Monday, March 3, 1997, at her home.
She was born Nov. 29, 1925, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of J. Grant and Emma Brucher Frye. She and Albert E. Bradbury were married Sept. 1, 1949, in Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 21, 1984.
Bradbury was an attorney in Miami, Fla., and a partner in the law firm of Blackwell, Walker and Gray. She later moved to Ft. Myers, Fla., where she headed the real estate division for the law firm. She retired in 1986 and moved back to Cape Girardeau.
She was a member of Florida Bar Association, Loyal Order of the Moose, Eastern Star, and PEO Sisterhood.
Survivors include five brothers, John Frye Jr. of Scott City, William and Ralph Frye of Cape Girardeau, Daniel Frye of Ft. Myers, George Frye of East Lansing, Mich.; and a sister, Helen Craig of Eagle Lake, Texas.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel after 11:30 a.m. Thursday.
Funeral service will be at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Philip Curran officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
