MOREHOUSE, Mo. -- Betty Adams, 55, of Morehouse died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at her home.
She was born May 3, 1945, at Parma, Mo., daughter of John and Ethel Stewart Talley. She and Carl Adams were married June 22, 1963.
Adams had been a beautician, and was a housekeeper for various families the past several years. She was a member of Morehouse Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Camille Pierce of Cairo, Mo., Monica Harris of Clarksville, Tenn.; three brothers, Eldon Talley of Bloomfield, Mo., Harold Talley of Peoria, Ill., Terry Talley of Wauchula, Fla.; five sisters, Delorise Tucker of Farmington, Mo., Elizabeth Williams of Louisville, Ky., Joyce Wells of Flint, Mich., Marie Cooper of Bloomfield, Melba Bicie of Scott City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister.
Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston, Mo., from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery near Bloomfield.
