Bettie Kilhafner passed away peacefully, among family, on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at the age of 90 years. She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Cape Girardeau to the late John J. and Dorothy H. Scott Weimer. Miss Bettie was united in marriage Oct. 2, 1959, to William "Bill" Kilhafner of Oran, Missouri. He proceeded her in death Oct. 21, 1985...

Bettie Kilhafner passed away peacefully, among family, on Thursday, Nov. 4, 2021, at the age of 90 years.

She was born Dec. 14, 1930, in Cape Girardeau to the late John J. and Dorothy H. Scott Weimer. Miss Bettie was united in marriage Oct. 2, 1959, to William "Bill" Kilhafner of Oran, Missouri. He proceeded her in death Oct. 21, 1985.

Survivors include a son Richard (Janet) Randolph of Oran; a daughter, Cindy Randolph Templeton (Joe Bougeno) of Fenton, Missouri; a daughter Karla Kilhafner (Eric) Marquart of Cape Girardeau. She is Grandma of 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Also, a sister-in-law, niece and nephew.

Others whom preceded her in death are sons, Mike Kilhafner, Wain Randolph and Thomas Kilhafner; her brother, John D. Weimer; and sister, Regina Weimer.

Miss Bettie was an employee for many years at Oran International Hat Factory. She also worked at Buchheit in Jackson and Oran Quick Stop.

Best known for being light hearted, fun-loving, never meeting a stranger and being full of spunk.

Visitation will be from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel. Internment will be at Guardian Angel Cemetery in Oran immediately following funeral service.
