CHARLESTON, Mo. -- Bette Galemore, 62, formerly of Charleston, died Saturday, March 31, 2001, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 7, 1938, in Charleston, daughter of W.E. and Beatrice McCracken Frazier, Sr. She had lived in Charleston most of her life, where she was a member of the United Methodist Church.

She and Charles Galemore were married July 17, 1954.

Survivors include her husband, of Cookeville Tenn; a son, Robert Galemore of Nashville, Tenn.; two brothers, Richard Frazier of Tampa, Fla., and Ran Frazier of Holland, Pa.; a sister, Jean Mehler of Melbourne, Fla.; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Ed Hankinson will officiate. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery.
