Beth Ann Amos, 52, of Wickliffe, Ky., formerly of Scott City, passed away with dignity after losing her courageous battle with cancer Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, surrounded by family and friends at Morley, Mo.
She was born April 12, 1960, in Cape Girardeau to Dicky Joe and Vera Cathryn Webb Riley. She and Ronnie Amos were married April 17, 1982, in Scott City.
Beth was a member of Cairo, Ill., Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Survivors include her husband, Ronnie Amos of Wickliffe; her parents, Dicky and Vera Riley of Scott City; a sister, Lisa (Ed) Prellwitz of Morley; her children, Justin (Emily) Farver of Wickliffe, Curtis Adam (Lindsey) Amos of Cape Girardeau and Cathy (Bobby) Beauchamp of Peace Valley, Mo.; five grandchildren; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a stepson, Joshua Amos, and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with Elder Carl Clark officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery in Scott City.
