SHE WAS BORN JULY 22, 1929, IN CARUTHERSVILLE, DAUGHTER OF JAMES AND MYRTLE DOSTER SIDES.
WELCH WAS EMPLOYED BY THE BROWN SHOE CO. AND AS A COOK. SHE WAS A BOY SCOUT LEADER AND A MEMBER OF THE TEMPLE BAPTIST CHURCH, TEACHING SUNDAY SCHOOL.
SURVIVORS INCLUDE TWO SONS, JIMMIE CRITTENDEN OF MILLERSVILLE, VERLIN FORD OF CAPE GIRARDEAU; THREE DAUGHTERS, ANN TUCKER AND CAROL MARSHALL, BOTH OF SIKESTON, MO., TERESA MCKEEVER OF JACKSONVILLE, FLA.; THREE SISTERS, ALINE GOSS OF CARUTHERSVILLE, KATHLEEN SIDES OF SIKESTON, LUCILLE WINTERS OF DYERSBURG, TENN.; SEVEN GRANDCHILDREN; AND 12 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN.
BURIAL WAS AT THE LITTLE PRAIRIE CEMETERY IN CARUTHERSVILLE.
