BESSIE WARD

SIKESTON -- Bessie Mae Ward, 91, of Sikeston died Tuesday, March 16, 1999, at Sikeston Health Care Center.

She was born Jan. 12, 1908, in Dundee, Miss., daughter of Felix and Jennie Boxley.

Ward had lived in Sikeston since 1972, and was a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church.

Survivors include two nieces, Jessie Woods of Sikeston, Corine Davis of Dodge Center, Minn.; and a nephew, Rudell Williams of Pontiac, Mich.

She was preceded in death by a sister.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Church, with Flem Bronner Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Sunset of Memories Cemetery.

Friends may call at the church Saturday from noon until service time.
