Bessie Jane Price, 86, of Jackson died Sunday, March 5, 2017, at her home.
She was born Jan. 8, 1931, in Cape Girardeau County to Luey and Gladys Ulery Stephens. She was married to Samuel King. He died in 1984. She later was married to Earl Price, who preceded her in death.
She was a homemaker and raised seven children.
Survivors include six daughters, Betty (Ben) Burrows of Ironton, Missouri, Cathy King of Jackson, Sheila (Terry) Brown, Danita Price and Marcie Price, all of Cape Girardeau, and Lisa (Pete) Schindler of Millersville; a son, Edwin Price of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Orville Stephens of Morley, Missouri; a sister, Zella King of Whitewater; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and a daughter, Virginia.
Friends may call from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau.
The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Smithey officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery near Arbor.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ford and Sons Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
