SCOTT CITY -- Bessie Magdlene Noland, 71, of Scott City died Wednesday, May 17, 2000, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 9, 1928, at Portageville, daughter of Joseph and Jeffie Gaines Robinson. She and Paul Eugene "Gene" Noland were married June 19, 1948. He died Nov. 5, 1990.
Noland was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
Survivors include two sons, Jake Noland of Cape Girardeau, Gary Noland of Rolla; a daughter, Linda Elledge of Scott City; two brothers, Vester and Gay Robinson of Portageville; two sisters, Georgia Johnson of Portageville, Edna McCulley of Scott City; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, two sisters, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
