BESSIE M. SHEGLEY

ORAN -- Bessie M. Shegley, 98, died Tuesday, Nov. 10, 1992, at Chaffee Nursing Center.

She was born June 26, 1894, in Russiaville, Ind., daughter of Abraham Joseph and Louisia Hodson Biesecker. She and Walter George Shegley were married Oct. 27, 1913. He died Aug. 3, 1976.

Shegley was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Oran.

Survivors include a brother, Bert Biesecker of Minnesota; a grandson, Jere Tenkhoff of Oran; four great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a son, daughter, four brothers and two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran. The Rev. John Gregory will officiate, with burial in Fairmount Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. today.
