CHAFFEE -- Bessie M. Prater, 69, of Chaffee, died Thursday, Dec. 2, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Aug. 19, 1924, in Nashville, Tenn., daughter of Will and Eula Coleman Wright. She and Charlie Prater were married Aug. 13, 1938.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Sandra Hibdon of Chaffee, Charlotte Pardue of Cleveland, Tenn., and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home in Nashville. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery there.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Sunday.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Home of Chaffee handled local arrangements.
