BESSIE L. PRESNELL

PATTON -- Bessie L. Presnell, 72, of St. Charles and formerly of Patton died Tuesday, Dec. 1, 1992, at the Parkside Meadows Retirement Community in St. Charles.

She was born Feb. 13, 1920, at Marquand, the daughter of Harley and Alpa Killian Yount. On April 2, 1941, she married Pinkney P. Presnell, who survives of St. Charles.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Louis Southwest Church of the Nazarene. She and her husband moved from Patton to the St. Louis area last year.

Other survivors include three sons, Larry W. Presnell of House Springs, G. Micheal Presnell of Eureka and Mark Presnell of Jackson; four daughters, Sandra Bovyn of Decatur, Ill., Pamela Kreutz of Harvester, Beverly Jeanette McGrath of Eldon, and Karin R. Martinez of Cedar Hill; two brothers, William Yount of Patton and Clint Yount of Barnhart; a sister, Dorothy Anderson of House Springs; and 17 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother and a son, Jerry Lynn Presnel.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Patton, where funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Carl Cureton will officiate, and burial will be in the Patton Cemetery.
